Who is eligible to apply to our schools? Enrollment at Journey Community Schools is based on parent choice. Scholars are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, with no tests or interviews required. Any child who lives within Shelby County may enroll, if seats are available.
To apply for a seat, please use the lottery application link above. East Academy, Coleman School, and Northeast Academy will hold their annual enrollment lotteries on November 5, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.. Results of the lottery will be posted in each school’s lobby area by 10:00 a.m.
Please note that parents do not have to be present for this process.
